Beautiful soap flowers last forever made in Thailand

They look like beautiful exotic flowers, and they even smell the part, only unlike the real thing, Thai soap flowers last forever.
Although these days, soap flowers can be bought as souvenirs from all around Thailand, these scented masterpieces originated in the villages around Chiang Rai. When they weren’t too busy tending to their farms or working in the rice paddies, locals practiced carving on pieces of soap. Their hobby turned into a fine art, and the delicate soap flowers they sold at the local night markets soon captured tourists’ imagination. Pictures after the jump

Spray on T-Shirt fits like second skin

Rummaging in a drawer, grabbing a T- shirt and slipping it over your head would certainly be simpler. But some of us are willing to put a little more effort into our wardrobes.

The result? A shirt that fits so snugly it looks as if it has been sprayed on to the body. Actually, it has.

Thanks to a liquid mixture made of cotton fibres we could soon be spraying ourselves into everything from T-shirts, dresses, trousers to swim-wear and hats.

Fabrican - literally fabric in an aerosol can - is the brainchild of Spanish designer Dr Manel Torres who has spent ten years working on his invention.
In a video demonstrating how it works, he sprays a blue and white T-shirt on to a model in just under 15 minutes.
Drying as soon as it hits his skin, the garment can be taken off, washed and re-worn.

Dr Torres teamed up with Paul Luckham, Professor of Particle Technology at Imperial College London, to create Fabrican, which consists of cotton fibres, polymers (the plastics which hold them together) and solvents which keep it in liquid form.

Stage one: This might tickle a bit... Dr Torres spray paints the model`s shoulder and torso. Both wear goggles to protect their eyes

Stage two: Thank goodness I didn`t ask for a suit... The fabric, drying fast, is already showing a couple of creases on the model`s torso

Stage three: Plain white`s so yesterday... Dr Torres decides to add a fetching splatter of blue to brighten things up a little

Stage 4: A touch to the neckline shows how the fabric dies away from the body

Stage five: The shirt off my back... The garment can be taken off, washed and re-worn

Naked woman steals taxi

A Detroit-area woman is accused of stripping to her birthday suit in the back seat of a taxi in Louisiana and then stealing the cab.

Jennifer Gille, 29, of St. Clair Shores, Mich., was arrested early Sunday in Covington, La., The Detroit News reported.

Police said Gille refused to get out of the taxi after the driver got her to her destination.

"The driver said, 'Here you are,' but she wouldn't get out of the car," Capt. Jack West told the News. "She said 'I need to go to Michigan' and began taking her clothes off."

The driver then proceeded to the police station. Because he thought Gille was too drunk to do anything else, he left her in the cab -- with the keys still in the ignition -- while he went inside to get help.

Police found the taxi about a block away from the station. West said Gille had returned to the back seat and refused police orders to get out of the cab.
Gille was being held in the St. Tammany Parish jail.

Another Interesting Game in Asia: Bra Untying Contest

Now what can be more embarrassing, for a bunch of dudes, than to lose a bra untying contest to a member of the weaker sex? I’m sure she did have more practice than most of the male contestants, but still, humiliating.

asiantown.net

During a promotional event, organized by a Chinese department store, in Gungzhou city, China, contestants were invited to test their bra untying skills. In order to win, participants had to untie the bras of eight models, in the shortest time possible, using only one hand. All the male show-offs, eager to prove their skills, were humiliated by a woman, who managed to untie all eight bras in just 21 seconds.
For her impressive achievement, the lady won 1,000 yuan ($146,5) and infinite satisfaction.
